The barrier, inside,
and outside. Complete. The storm last night brought down lots of small branches and the road need sweeping before it can be reopened. There was also a lot of other problems around the Bay, including a garage roof that turned, briefly into a heavy flying object that landed on a car. No one in it fortunately but it did mean the council were too busy to clear the road.
They hope to do it Tuesday morning which will put of the big event by 4 or 5 hours. There will still be problems along here, one demonstrated in the photo above and the trees in the photos below.
Soon to be full of happy, smiling bus drivers and their happy, smiling passengers and loads of car drivers who may or may not be happy and smiling.

That last picture looks a bit dodgy!! Traffic pulling in right in front of the bus stop. I can see it now... bus pulls away from stop, car tries to get round the front of it, head on collision!!
I agree, I tried to suggest removing these bus stops to a council official, he was horrified by the idea. I then suggested coning the area of so cars could not get past the buses but that idea was also too radical. We will see.
