Saturday lunch time and the crane has gone. Off to block a road in Litchfield. And I never got a photo of it leaving. Should have got up a bit earlier.
Tomorrow is Sunday and a day of rest but on Monday a team of geologists will be down to look at the rock face and make sure it is safe to open the road. Or if it isn't, what needs to be done to make it safe. The above photo shows the state of parts of the cliff. These slabs have been hidden behind trees and bushes for years. Out of sight, out of mind as they say.
