Lets hope the traders at the lower end of town have an upturn in business to make up for the hard times they have been suffering, though not in silence, for the last 6 weeks. If the road does open on Tuesday it will be only 4 days late, which with all the problems isn't too bad.
We just need this long section of boards to be painted as the road can not open until it is a dark blue like the first 80 metres, only 350 metres to go. Bad weather is forecast for the next two days, heavy rain and 40 mph winds, might even bring a few rocks down.
